Terms & Conditions

Mercura Scout · Last updated 24 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Mercura Scout ("we", "us"), an automated service that monitors public tender sources, sends text-message alerts for opportunities that match your profile, and drafts supporting documents on your behalf. By signing up you agree to these terms.

1. What the service does

Mercura Scout polls federal (SAM.gov) and Texas municipal tender sources, matches new opportunities against the trades, location, and contract-size settings you provide, and texts you when something matches. If you reply with the alert's code (or request it from your dashboard), we generate a tailored expression-of-interest email and supporting documents modelled on the information and documents you give us.

2. Alerts are best-effort, not guaranteed

We aggregate third-party public sources and do our best to match accurately, but we do not guarantee that every relevant tender is found, that alerts are timely or complete, or that the details shown (value, deadline, buyer, scope) are accurate. Always verify an opportunity against the official source before acting on it.

3. Contract-value filtering — please read

We filter by the contract value you set, but only when a value is published. Many tenders — especially on the municipal portals — do not publish a contract value. Those tenders will still be sent to you (shown as "$TBC") even if they may fall outside the range you selected, so that you can assess them yourself.

In other words, the contract-size range you choose at signup excludes only tenders whose published value is outside that range. It is a convenience filter, not a guarantee that every tender you receive is one you can deliver or want to bid on. You are responsible for assessing whether any tender suits your business before you respond.

4. Generated documents

Emails and documents we produce are drafted automatically using AI from the information you provide. They may contain errors, omissions, or statements that do not fit a particular tender. They are drafts to assist you — you are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving any document before you submit it to a buyer, and for the accuracy of everything you submit.

5. Text messages and consent

By providing your mobile number you consent to receive recurring automated SMS alerts and related messages from Mercura Scout. Message frequency varies with how many tenders match your profile. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is part of using the service; if you opt out of texts we cannot deliver alerts.

6. Your information

We store the details you enter and any documents you upload (such as a website address, safety plan, or capability information) in order to match tenders and tailor the documents we generate for you. We do not sell your information. Contact us to update or delete your data.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Mercura Scout helps you find and respond to opportunities. We do not guarantee that you will be invited to bid, shortlisted, or awarded any contract, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a buyer.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed tenders, lost bids, errors in alerts or generated documents, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Questions? Email ben@mercuraoutreach.com.
